| Physiotherapy/Sports Massage Experience Amanda Booth has been qualified as a physiotherapist for ten years,
having worked in the NHS for six years and private practice for four
years. She has also been qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist for
five years and currently lectures for SPS Ltd on the RSA Diploma in
Sports Massage course.
The Welsh Institute of Sport
Amanda worked for two years at the WIS sports Injuries Clinic treating
elite lottery funded athletes from a wide variety of sports, including
Golf, Aerobics, Swimming, Athletics, Badminton, Rowing, Table Tennis,
Rugby, Football, Hockey, Netball, Gymnastics and Judo.
The University of Bath
Amanda was employed by the University of Bath (High Performance Centre)
as Age Group Swimming Coach. Amanda was able to apply her physiotherapy
knowledge during Land Training sessions, incorporating injury prevention
exercises into the programme for swimmers.
During her time at the University she worked for a short period in
the Sports Injury Clinic with elite funded athletes; providing
physiotherapy cover at football matches and lectured to Degree and HND
courses on Sports Massage and Physiology.

Amanda has worked with the GB Senior Swim Team at home and abroad on
training camps and at International competitions.
